A word on first editions: If you have one of the old dust-jacketed editions as pictured up above with only a single copyright date, do not automatically assume it is a first edition. The dust jacketed editions/covers were used through the mid-eighties. Eager's books all have stated first editions. You'll find a notice on the copyright page,like this one from The Well-Wishers.>
